Panarium 1970 is a Rome bakery producing wholesale bread, pizza and pinsette, run by the same family since 1970 and now in its third generation. Since 2018 it has worked from a bakery of about 400 sq m in the Osteria del Curato area, with more than 20 staff. It bakes with sourdough starter, long fermentation and Italian durum, semi-wholemeal and wholemeal flours, without preservatives. The range includes white, dark, wholemeal and olive-oil breads in many sizes, including mini rolls, a rustic Pane di Roma loaf, milk bread, tray-baked pizza and pinsette, a crisp baked snack of its own invention. Fresh bread is delivered within Rome's urban area and dry products across much of Italy. For restaurants, cafés and bars it supplies fresh bread and pizza in medium and large volumes.
