Ortitaly is a fruit and vegetable wholesaler in south Rome, founded by a family of growers who have farmed around Acilia and Ostia Antica since the 1950s. Its first shop opened in 1980, a wholesale warehouse for the hospitality trade followed in 2006, and the Ortitaly brand was launched in 2017. Much of the produce comes from the Lazio coast between Cerveteri and Sperlonga, from its own and partner farms, and is harvested and delivered within 24 to 36 hours. The catalogue lists more than 250 lines: vegetables, fresh and exotic fruit, nuts, herbs, mushrooms, organic and prepared produce. It delivers in refrigerated vans across Lazio, including Rome's ZTL, and VAT-registered businesses can sign up to order online. For restaurants, cafés and bars it supplies seasonal Lazio produce with daily delivery.
