About the company
Gvint is a craft brewery with a taproom on Dobračina Street in Dorćol, Belgrade. The company Gvint d.o.o. was registered in 2016, and according to the brewery it has brewed only lagers since 2018, unfiltered and unpasteurised. The brewery says it follows German brewing standards with a light Bavarian influence. Styles include helles, Italian pilsner, red lager and IPL (India Pale Lager). The taproom pours its own beer and serves food, and it hosts company events. The name comes from Serbian slang, where "gvint" means a trick or a clever twist. Gvint supplies restaurants, cafés and bars with craft lager from its own production.
