Mare Italia is a fish and seafood wholesaler with more than thirty years in the trade, operating two stands at the fish market of CAR, Rome's wholesale food centre in Guidonia Montecelio. It supplies restaurants, fishmongers and supermarkets across Rome and its province. Fish comes in through the ports of Anzio, Fiumicino, Orbetello, Pescara and San Benedetto del Tronto, where the company also works with its own boats in the Adriatic, and from suppliers in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Scotland, Canada, the USA and Israel. The range covers fresh fish with daily arrivals, including small mixed catch (paranza), frozen products, preserved goods and processed items. Phone orders are taken from 6 am to 2 pm. For restaurants, cafés and bars it offers fresh Tyrrhenian and Adriatic fish delivered across the province.
