Gimar is a Rome meat wholesaler, now in its third generation and trading for around forty years. It is based at the Commercity business park, between the Rome–Fiumicino motorway and the GRA ring road. It handles beef, pork, poultry and lamb, fresh, frozen and dry-aged, as carcasses, bone-in cuts, boneless cuts and custom portions. Part of the meat is imported directly from slaughterhouses in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, Argentina and the United States. The range also includes cured meats, fresh and aged cheeses, and halal products. It works with hotels, holiday villages, company canteens, airline caterers and schools, with daily deliveries. For restaurants, cafés and bars it offers meat, cured meats and cheese from a single supplier, with cuts and quantities to order.
